Frequently Asked Questions

What size sleep sets do you offer?

Comfort King offers mattresses in any size & shape you can imagine.

Standard Sizes in the USA are as follows:
• King – 76″ x 80″
• Queen – 60″ x 80″
• Full – 54″ x 74″
• Twin – 38″ x 74″

Specialty Sizes:
• California King – 72″ x 84″
• Full Extra Long – 54″ x 80″
• Twin Extra Long – 38″ x 80″

These are approximate finished sizes (+/- 1″) as provided by the International Sleep Products Association.
If you’re looking for a new sleep set for an adjustable bed, boat, RV, antique bed, heart-shaped bed, or round bed, Comfort King can custom-build any size and shape just for you! Specialty-size mattresses can typically be assembled and delivered to you in less than two weeks. Contact our Sioux Falls or Fargo store for details.

Can you make me a mattress for my antique bed?

Yes. Comfort King can custom-build a sleep set for you in any size or shape. For antique beds, we recommend you measure the width and the length of the inside of the bed frame prior to speaking with a local store. Alternatively, we can measure the antique bed for you. Specialty-size mattresses can typically be assembled and delivered to you in less than two weeks. Contact your local store for details.

Does Comfort King offer foam mattresses?

No. Foam cores are inferior to pocketed coil innersprings in both support & durability.

Can I purchase a mattress only?

Yes, you can purchase a mattress only. However, your mattress is only as good as the support beneath it. We recommend purchasing a mattress and a foundation at the same time in order to receive the best comfort and support.

Why should I buy a mattress and a foundation at the same time?

A mattress and a foundation are designed to work together. An old foundation will usually lack the uniform support that is necessary for your new mattress; resulting in premature “sagging”. We recommend purchasing a new mattress and foundation at the same time in order to receive the best comfort and support.

What does Comfort King’s warranty cover?

Comfort King guarantees all sleep set purchases from defects in workmanship and materials on a 100% non-prorated basis.

CK also offers the exclusive SoftSpot Warranty.

Should service be needed, your mattress or foundation will be repaired (at Comfort King’s discretion) at no charge. You are responsible for any transportation charges. Transportation costs apply. Contact our Sioux Falls or Fargo store for details. This warranty does NOT cover normal wear, including body impressions less than 1.5” deep.

I moved away from my original place of purchase and I have a service issue. What should I do?

In the event your mattress or box spring needs servicing, please contact the Comfort King location at which it was originally purchased.

Do you offer shipping to areas where there isn’t a Comfort King? What are the shipping costs?

Yes, Comfort King will ship products to you even if there is no Comfort King location in your area. Customers are responsible for shipping costs, which vary by product and destination. Contact the closest Comfort King location to you for details.
